Meet the KMC Staff

At Kahler Mountain Club, we have a staff that is dedicated and passionate about great golf, great food, and great fitness! Our goal is for you to have a wonderful time on every visit, no matter what you’re here for.

Lucy Payne

General Manager, Kahler Mountain Club
[email protected]

Lucy oversees the business operations of the KMC Golf Course, Athletic Club & Wildflour Restaurant

I have enjoyed being a part of the Kahler Glen/Lake Wenatchee community for the past nine years. My husband, Jarrett, is a volunteer firefighter for LWFR, and our two sons attend school in Leavenworth, where they are active in sports, skiing, and golf. I love all the adventures this area has to offer—from pickleball, golfing, skiing, and hiking to floating the river or simply relaxing on the beach.

One of my favorite parts of being involved with Kahler Mountain Club is getting to know our members and seeing the positive changes taking place. Now, as the General Manager of  the golf course, athletic club & restaurant I’m excited to focus on building a stronger, more vibrant future for Kahler Mountain Club.

Jason Luft

PGA Professional, Kahler Mountain Club

Welcome Our New PGA Professional, Jason Luft

We are excited to introduce Jason Luft, who will begin overseeing Golf Operations at KMC starting June 1.

Jason joins us from Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Washington, and brings more than 25 years of experience in the golf industry. His background extends well beyond the course, including experience in consulting, restaurants, and water quality and treatment — giving him a uniquely well-rounded operational perspective.

He holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Idaho and combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for growing the game of golf.

Most importantly, Jason and his wife have a wonderful, energetic young family who enjoy the outdoors as much as our KMC community does.

A Message from Jason

“Thank you all for this wonderful opportunity to join the KMC community. I would love to meet all of you and get to know each and every one of you as soon as possible. Please feel free to stop by the Pro Shop any time after June 1st.

I am looking forward to building community and growing lessons, programs, and events throughout the year. My door is always open, and I’m truly excited to take on this opportunity. Thank you again!”
